The island of bidong , kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, have not sighted any whaleshark (where the island is dedicated as University Malaysia Terengganu reseach centre). I saw the whaleshark at 12 meter depth and managed to persuade the whale shark to go 3-4 meter depth & my dive buddy Hafiz, Nazri managed to capture the beautiful creature. When surface all of us in shock when the researchers told us in 20 years there is not documented of sighted whale shark in Bidong Island.
