Hooks can be seen in the mouths of two of these sharks. These were females. One of them, a male, seems emaciated. He was the only male in the group of 7 or 8. Despite fishing being prohibited at the site, we collected fishing line, hooks and sinkers. The hooks and line was similar to that seen in the sharks. When we were packing up a fisherman stopped to ask us if we saw schools of blackfish during the dive, so they don't even seem interested in covering their tracks any more. Due to the lack of regulation, sharks at Bushrangers are now provided very little real protection
