Auto-sourced from YouTube Parent Video: eMvMbXQelMM From YouTube video: Manta Rays and whalesharks, Hanifaru Bay Maldives Sept 2018 Hanifaru Bay - A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in Baa Atoll in the Maldives
Swimming amongst the feeding manta rays and whale sharks at Hanifaru Bay is an emotional experience. There were at least 35 Mantas joined by two whalesharks! There are only handful of places in the world where visitors can get so close to so many manta rays. This feeding behaviour has become known as cyclone feeding.
The best time to visit Hanifaru Bay is from June to November. During these months the South West monsoon causes massive built up of plankton drawing hundreds of manta rays and whale sharks in to the bay.
The music is Ene Nyame 'A' Mensuro by Ebo Taylor & Pat Thomas - (Henrik Schwarz Blend). It was originally a Ghanaian Highlife hit from 1978.
