Additional comments:
Hello,
The Whale Shark swam very close to us and we could not see any scaring at all except a 'dent' to right hand side of the top part of its mouth, see picture.
The Whale Shark was at least 35 foot long and fed near the surface and also dived to the bottom approx 60 foot and then back up again numerous times. I spent at least 20 minutes with the Whale Shark. There were also a large number of Manta Rays in the area feeding. Not exactly sure of whale shark dive site but the next site 45 min away by slow boat was known as Hani Faru.
Regards
Brook Burton
