The Whale Shark spotted by the naturalist guide Harry Vargas, aboard "The Beagle" said they spotted the WS at the surface. They spotted the fin during navigation, stopped and jumped in. They noticed she had damaged dorsal and caudal fins and estimated her to be around 12-15m.
