Noticeable scarring: no scaring observed
Edit scarring description
Behavior: The skipper spotted the fin of the shark breaking the water and the divers on board prepared to enter the water with snorkel gear. As we prepared the shark swam close to the boat which was idling. It swam under the boat and made 2 investigating passes. When we entered the water (4 snorkelers) the shark remained at the surface and slowly swam away.

Additional comments:
There were some expectations of an encounter due to the weather/ wave conditions. The winds were predicted to shift the following day from E, NE to a SE with strong winds. The waves were coming from the NE which is unusual here. Even with a few days of NE winds the wave pattern generally stays from the SE.
